Cadet Plebe Arrives Home in New Dress

Our son, the WP Cadet Plebe, arrived home this evening in his newly-acquired winter-dress uniform. After posing in a somewhat traditional form for his mom,

he decided to loosen up a bit and act a little more casual in front of the camera. Soon, he tossed

all caution to the wind, removed his dress jacket, and hammed it up. Note how high-waisted the pants are cut .
He soon changed into more comfortable clothes and we enjoyed a Mexican feast of chicken enchiladas, refried beans, corn, rice, chips, salsa, sour cream, and guacamole dip. I am not sure why that had to be mentioned, but it is done.

We are anticipating a great weekend together, catching up on the week's adventures, both here and at the Academy. The time will go quickly, but we will enjoy each moment that God grants us.

Note the clean house!

Yeah, those high waisted pants are definately going to make a comeback in men's fashions! What a handsome young man, you must be so proud! Enjoy every moment, praise the Lord, we hear from our plebe almost every day, unlike a lot of parents with kids in traditional college. Bless your family!

Love in Christ,

The W-H's

Just wanted to say what an encouragement it was reading your blog. My husband and I lost our three month old son on July 18, 2008, three months ago today. Many of the qoutes and Bible verses were an encouragement to me as today is a hard day. I will remember you in my prayers for God's will. Isn't it great serving a God who makes no mistakes and who has traveled our path before we ever went through it. He will never give us more than we can handle. God will use you and your family for His glory as I know just by reading this that He already has.

God bless you and your family.
A friend from college gave me your blog page.

I’m glad you people have the enthusiasm to passionately comment on this page. My mom is really getting into my nerves so I can’t be as passionate as you people are. Maybe I should ask her to attend a family blessings seminar with me.

I understand you. I guess that’s just the thing if you belong to the human race. That’s what I’ve learned when my wife and I attended a series of Covenant Marriage Seminars.
